“Change the qualities of life for Deaf Children in Yerevan”
At beginning of January in 2007 year “Havat” NGO implemented program “Change the qualities of life for Deaf Children in Yerevan” with financial aid of Great Britain “International association of Deaf Children”.
It will carry out at N9 special school of Hard Hearing Children in Yerevan . The member's of the program are hard hearing children and their parents, the duration of it is 9 month.
Within the range of the program is provision to bring about.
- In number 40 children and 30 parents training courses of Armenian sign language and to expand the possibilities for their communications.
- In number 15 children training English sign language, which will contribute them to carry out in foreign countries educational exchange program.
- To organize a club, where there will be meeting with parents and children on purpose of pastime, which will put them into practice implement. There will be celebrate birthday, traditional festivals and will bring about all sorts of measures in accordance with participants selection.
- Recurrently in club there will be meeting with head of “Havat” NGO and parents and there will take part sociology and solicitor.
The run of the program will be commented in press by journalist of the program.
