On 24 September, 2004, a Round table took place within the framework of the Eurocommission-funded program “From Equal Rights - to Equal Opportunities” implemented by the coalition of Havat and Unison NGOs.

The Round table was aimed at presentation of the idea of the National Plan of Action on Disability (NPAD) to the public and at discussion of NPAD elaboration ways with all the major stakeholders operating in the field.
52 representatives from state and marz agencies, international organizations, Yerevan and marz NGOs attended the Roundtable

The program expert introduced a brief review of the European disability-related legal acts in comparison with the Armenian legislation.
Active discussion took place and a working group was formed at the Roundtable.
